Siding
Fiber Cement — ITEL Matching
Fiber cement profiles are frequently discontinued. ITEL testing may be required to justify full replacement if an exact profile match cannot be confirmed.
Wood / Cedar — Paint System
Steel / Aluminum — Specialized Labor
Steel and aluminum siding requires specialized cutting, bending, and grounding. Standard labor rates do not apply — DCS will scope with appropriate labor adders.
Stone / Stone Veneer — Wet Trade Documentation
Stone veneer scopes require wet-trade line items that standard exterior scopes miss. Full bed vs. thin adhered veneer changes the structural requirements and cost significantly.
EIFS — Moisture Intrusion & Inspection
EIFS is not stucco. It is a multi-layer synthetic barrier system with a documented history of moisture intrusion. A specialized EIFS inspection is required before DCS can scope repairs.
Windows
Shutters
Doors — Entry, Exterior, Garage
Garage Door — Wind-Load Rating
Wind-load rated garage doors are a code requirement in many wind zones. If the existing door is not rated and code requires it, DCS will scope the upgrade.
